4. But I'm a WAR president! Waaaaaah! Waaaaah!
Someone give him a Wii. A war Wii. Then he can play pretend commander in chief forever. And nobody gets hurt.

Oliphant rules.

10. do you pay for image hosting?
I use freeservers at a scant rate and their images often are blocked from remote linking.

11. i used to use photo-bucket but the link is a hassle, so hubby set me up with a...
file at his server, and that i can tinker with cause i understand it better; i like photo-bucket & still have an acct there, but it seemed like i had to do too much back & forth, highlight this, copy/drop it, go back/find it/where is it, yada-yada stuff it was oppressive to me

:dunce:

what's remote linking?

13. Remote linking is what you are doing when you put the image into your DU post
The DU webpage is actually commanding your browser to pull the image from photobucket or whereever. We are using another company's internet bandwith. Companies don't always like that because the company has to pay for each time the image is accessed. The companies want the web surfers to see the ads on their page if they are paying for the content. So, freeservers.com often blocks what I put up.

I saw an internet comic book vendor posting warning messages about "don't you dare steal my bandwith" as a warning to other comic book vendors who were too cheap to source their own images. whew.
