The effect of the Iraq War hits home - Lexington, KY
Edited on Mon Dec-11-06 01:58 PM by mandyky
It's a beautiful day here in Lexington, so I was out on the Court House lawn enjoying the sun and springlike weather, when I noticed the flags were at half mast. So, I trot over to the library and their flags are also at half mast. After asking a few librarians, I find that the 50th soldier from Kentucky has died. :(

As more states and cities mark their numbers of dead, maybe someone will ask some serious questions and remove Georgy Boy from office. Going down in history as worst president ever is not worth the life of one of our soldiers, esp. since we all know this war was unecessary and illegal to boot.

This is Marlene, reporting from the Bluegrass, as the words Happy Christmas run through my head and I am close to tears for the damage done to our country and those who serve her.

1. Hopefully, 3,000 will be somekind of "tilt" for the general populace and
more Americans will go out into their own streets to say "STOP the Killing!"

Personally, I "tilted" on March 19, 2003.
