An Inconvenient Truth - On Demand @ Video.google.com
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1853143128000829382&q=inconvenient+truth+duration%3Along

This was posted by www.climatecrisis.net which is affiliated with the movie so I assume that this was posted legally. If there are copyright infringements Google will of course pull the movie but until then... get it while you can!

I highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone. If you have questions about What Global Warming Is or the Danger Global Warming Poses to Our World and Way of Life, I urge you to spend an hour and a half watching this movie. I just watched it twice and it really is a wake up call.

Because I can't thank Al Gore personally, I'd just like to float this thank you out into the ether and hope somehow it reaches him. Thank you, Al... well done, sir.

Now, enough of my blathering, go watch it and thank him yourself by soaking in the truth in this movie.

2. I watched it last night!
It brought water to my eyes to think that President Gore was cheated out of his rightful place. America would be a much better, more positive place with him at the helm, rather than this "wanna-be" John Wayne and his f***ing frontier justice. ( I digress)

The ice shelf melting off the Antarctic mainland, as well as the scenario portrayed when the North Pole ice pack and Greenland melting is horrifying. Thank God Gore has taken on this mission. I just wish more people would wake up from their 'kool-aid' induced stupor. I probably won't live to see the destruction, but I am sure my sons will.

:scared:

4. I watched it for the first time yesterday...it should be required watching for all who doubt....
....or believe we've not made a huge impact on our environment and the future...and the hellish reality of the future of our species because of our selfishness and ignorance.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting that link. I had wanted to watch the movie since this past summer, but I moved overseas, and it's been difficult to see it. I just watched it, and I am speechless.

Now I am glad that I live in a more progressive society that takes this warning of global climate catastrophe to heart. And it has made me rethink Al Gore in 2008. May God/ess help us.

10. Great
I know some people who didn't get to see it when it was in town. I know if I share this with them that they will probably end up buying DVD's for others this holiday season.

11. After watching this, I have an even stronger hope that Gore will run
I've been on the fence about which candidate I like best, and I can't say I've settled on Gore, but I do want the candidate who will best win. So for me it's about figuring who can best win. And I see it this way:

1. Everyone who voted for him in '00 (who's still alive) will vote for him again
2. We have a much more engaged youth vote than we did in '00, and they are largely breaking for the Dems
3. He has good 'name recognition' and has not done anything to embarass himself; in fact, he was graceful about "losing" and has shown great integrity
4. He has loosened up a bit, not as mannequin-like as he was in '00, which makes him more likable
5. People are finally starting to get on board about global warming, and many republican centrists probably appreciate his efforts in this regard

SO with all this, it seems to me that he has a solid chance of winning. I'd be interested in what others think about this...

14. K&R'd,
though my DVD copy arrived yesterday. I love the packaging--bare-bones, 100% biodegradable, 100% post-consumer recycled materials.

16. Thank you so much for posting this link.
I watched it and have sent it out to 40 friends so far. I am so glad that Al has taken on this subject and gained world support for the cause. I hope our new Congress will take this matter seriously and move toward ratifying the Kyoto treaty.
