Happy New Year: Florida's last year under Jeb! Things will
get better. Of course, he has stripped all of our civil service rights, screwed up voting, stalled salaries, and laid off thousands of state workers. It will take a long time to recover from the colossol mess he's made but at least he has to go. Anybody or anything will be better.

1. I hope so... Have the RWers who put Jeb in, in the first place...
shown any evidence of learning from this debaucle? Have Mom & Pop RW voter burned on Jeb and others like him?

6. No, not really
not if my dad and his buddies are any indication. Jebbie stalled and stalled reducing the "intangibles tax," the Florida revenue cash cow that hits retirees especially hard by taxing the hell out of all their investments. However, it was finally reduced, although not eliminated, so all those old folks think he's some sort of a success.

Plus, there are a lot of pockets of religious wingnuttery down there.

3. Good riddance!
Hopefully he won't be governing Florida (and the rest of the nation) from the White House in 2009!

7. I'm so glad this it's his last year
I am 100% sure that Jeb Bush did more damage to Florida than all 6 of the hurricanes combined. And that's hard to imagine, since some stuff hasn't even opened back up here (Delray Beach, FL), two months later.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!!!

But Happy New Year to all of you!

8. Rod Smith is running for Governor in Florida
I met him and was impressed. A good speaker, forceful and down to earth. I hope he makes it to the primaries then on to winning in 2006

9. Please oh PLEASE don't run McBride again!
And yes I lived in Sarasota and did support him against Bush once Reno was dissmissed by Diebold.

The state's most successful trial lawyer? I thought one had to be quick on their feet and be able to speak in complete sentences without stuttering to be a great trial lawyer????

14. Jim Davis and Rod Smith
Don't know much about either one, but I hear good things about both. A dear friend whose opinion I value highly is a strong Jim Davis supporter so I am leaning that way but will support either in the general election.

No, I won't say GOODbye, I'll say BADbye to you Jeb, you PIECE OF SUPREME STEAMING MASSIVE SMELLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This state has NEVER been in WORSE goddamn shape. But I'm sure most of the dildohead rethugliKKKons here will blame Bill Clinton some how! Oh please, kiss my ASS!

And WHEN this turd-fondler runs for pResident (he'll have to steal office like his asshole brother did...twice) remember this: Jeb said HE WOULD NOT RUN FOR IT! But again, he's got the MAGIC "R" after his name so it's OK if he contradicts himself every goddamn 2 seconds...
