Explosives found ex-soldiers home (wanted to bomb local school, shoot students)

A pipe bomb and other explosive materials were found at an apartment shared by two soldiers who had served in Iraq, and one reportedly talked to his roommate about placing a bomb at an East Texas high school and shooting students, authorities said.

Texas National Guard Sgt. Paul Miles, 22, was placed in a mental health hospital after police went to his apartment Nov. 20, but he has not been charged.

In a university university police report, Timmons said his roommate had become "very violent" since returning from Iraq, including hanging and beating a kitten to death before putting it on a flagpole. In October, police had found a hanged kitten where Timmons described.

Miles had recently returned from a "short tour" in Iraq, said Texas National Guard Col. William Meehan. He did not know why he came home, or when the soldiers were deployed and returned.

1. Thanks, Dr. Bush-enstein, you've created countless monsters...
in addition to your mass murder.

4. They same thing happened to soldiers who had come back from
Vietnam and it went on for years, suicides, homicides, and other really great things.
