I have to leave soon and haven't looked at your links, and I haven't been following this Obama thing, but it sort of looks like that may be happening. Personally, Obama is a little too "moderate" for my taste. Not to mention a bit green yet.

3. If I still lived there I would be pissed off, this guy has made it clear
since he got "the talk" that he views his Office as nothing but a short-term stepping stone toward his real ambition. So what if the people of Illinois get nothing but a place-holder for 6 years...

But hey, I'd take a Democratic place-holder over what we've got here in AZ...:shrug:
