Marc Maron on Air America
Marc is sitting in for Sam Seder today on the radio. It makes me miss his humor on a daily basis. A note to Al Franken: This is what humor looks like. His gonzo morning antics are missed.

1. He can be REALLY funny....
but he can be a little too self-obsessed for me. The Lawton Smalls segments alone make me listen.

4. i'm listening - I love Marc!
I've missed him dreadfully. Why has he not been picked up by Sirius after AAR dropped him? Why hasn't SOMEONE given him a show! It's criminal that he doesn't have a show! Listening to him today, I'm reminded just how GOOD he is on radio.

I'm going to write Sirius again - anyone else with Sirius want to join me?

5. Milf Cardinal Milfington was on!
How I miss Morning Sedition and the whole cast. Lawton Smalls was my favorite, but I also loved Johnny K Street and Sammy the Stem Cell. I loved it when Marc morphed into his Doppelganger, Marc the Shark on Right and Early.

Oh, and liberal confessional. A guy called one morning to say he pretended to be a Republican to get a woman to sleep with him.

6. morning sedition
was the best thing on Air Am and for that matter, all of morning radio. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to find it, and was disappointed and depressed when it went off the air. A short while later, my Air Am station moved Randi Rhodes to late evening, when the signal faded in my area. There was not a whole lot of reason to listen to air am after that.

But back to Marc, not only was funny, but the other Mark was an unabashed drum corp fanatic, how cool is that!!!
