otherwise I'd be worried.

But that's a crazy series of coincidental events in Russia isn't it? I mean some prominent Russians seem to be turning up dead. Actually, they get horribly sick, suffer for a time, and then die. By coincidence, none of these people belonged to Vlad Putin's fan club. In fact, at least one of them had publicly accused old Vlad of conducting false flag attacks against his own people in order to stir up violence and further his own political agenda.

I know, it's ridiculous. The reason why I know this is because our own commander-in-chief, known for his excellent charactor judgement, looked into dear Pooty's eyes and saw into his soul.

Anyway, even if there's anything to it, it's just those crazy Russkies. Nothing like that could happen here in the good old U.S. of A. Right? Because otherwise I'd be worried.

1. Putin is a dictator and an autocrat who has nationalized the media.
As horribly as Bush has misgoverned, and as broadly as he's expanded executive powers, the situation isn't quite the same. Here, the opposition party has become the majority, and the media remains relatively open.

2. I have always thought that conspiracy theories are put out by the
government, so that the people who espouse them can be laughed at so that in the event some sensitive information does get out it can be regulated to the status of conspiracy wacko's.

3. It's Also Very Reassuring To Note
...that Putin formerly headed the KGB, while Junior's Poppy formerly headed the CIA.
