9. You can be a purist all you want, the V-O-T-E-R-S make the choice
And if you don't stand behind the choice of the V-O-T-E-R-S you must hate America.

25. I AM a V-O-T-E-R.
So.. I'm not sure I understand your point. My point had to do with what I look for before I cast my V-O-T-E.

18. I might work for someone before the primaries finish, but I'll go with the party choice at the end
of the day, even if my primary candidate doesn't make it. I'll switch loyalties and do some precinct walking and so forth for whoever does win at the end of the primaries.

Right now, they all look like they bring SOMETHING to the table, so it will be interesting to listen to their different approaches. How well they can "maintain" will be discovered on the old campaign trail...!

6. Gore always wins these polls.
That's not going to change unless and until he decides not to run.

I wonder about the interesting turnabout that's going on here - the one lawmaker who did the most to sponsor what is now the Internet is finding a huge network of support from that exact same system he helped bring about.

15. GORE! The only candidate with all the makings.
Hillary is a hawk and what has she done exactly?
Obama, quite a speeker but no experience.
Clark, I like and could be good but not media savy enough and not well rounded enough.
McCain, well I hope not.
Edwards, and what has he done and what foreign policy experience?

It's All Gore!

22. He's a person of his word..
but he said if he were DNC Chair he wouldn't run - a lot could happen between now and 07 - heck, Carville wants him gone, as do most of the DLCers...

23. No, he said that if he won the chairmanship, he ruled out a presidential run
Here's the cite: Like everyone in that crowd, Walker says she wants her man to run for president again. But Dean says he will not do it if he is elected chairman. If he is not elected chairman, Dean says he will rule nothing out. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A16532-2005Jan17_2.html

He was elected, and he ain't running. Funny, he was competing with Vilsack for the DNC job, and he just tossed his hat in the ring...

20. He oughtta get into Congress and start kicking butt there.
I don't see it as a step downwards - that's a step up if you're a Governor of such a small state.

21. I said more than six years ago that John Edwards was going to be President someday
he was on a Crossfire show and reminded me then of Jack Kennedy on talk shows in the 1950s. The same fire is there. The same contact with people. This guy can win if he can get nominated. He needs a brother Bobby to make that happen.
