CNN's in-house neocon Schneider does hatchet job on Jim Webb

It never fails: every time a Democrat fights backs, there you have the MSM "political experts" and "senior correspondents" ready to trash them and nag them for doing what the Republicans have been doing for a decade with impunity.

CNN's resident Republican operative Bill Schneider (Member of the http://www.aei.org/scholars/scholarID.53/scholar.asp">Republican AEI think tank) just did a nasty attack job on Jim Webb because he expressed his discontent with Chimpy's arrogance and rudeness. Not a single mention that what Bush said to Webb was not exactly "presidential" and quite off-putting. Schneider claimed that "Webb needs to learn to go along to get along." That is a typical attack of the pundit class against the "impoliteness" oft he beltway outsiders.

Then Schneider used "anonymous sources" and "anonymous Democratic leaders" who, as he claimed, mentioned that "Webb doesn't play by the rules", and that "Webb is going to be a huge pain for the party." He kept on trashing Webb, no word of Bush's arrogance and insensitivity to his son, stuck in Iraq.

Thanks for your concern about our party, Mr. AEI. Your reports are always transparent in their bias.

7. CNN remains a non issue for me. I do not watch CNN.

I have watched CNN exactly twice in the last year. Once I saw Al Gore on Larry King and the other day I saw Jimmy Carter on Larry King. The other 363 days I have not even watched CNN.

Running his "Democrats aren't sure if Dean is electable" meme day in and day out...

But I saw his piece on Webb- I honestly didn't think it was that bad. Being a renegade in our party is a badge of honor- I think, maybe, the more you can separate yourself from the corrupted Dem beltway, the more credibility you gain and strength you show.

I thought Webb represented himself well with his comments. The piece took nothing away from him.
