OK---so let me get this straight about about good old Joe.... He wants to go after the video industry because it allows young teenagers to kill "fake digital" victims in the fake video games, but yet he encourages teenagers to join the military to kill "real human victims" in Iraq.

1. The difference is that Lieberman's kids don't serve in the military but
they and his grandkids could play violent video games and take their aggression that the games bring out in them out on him.

2. Let's see...
How many people have died because someone went crazy after playing video games and killed them. 0.

Yeah, this is a good issue to waste time on.

4. I wonder if LIEberman has problems with racist shooters?
Have you ever seen some of these military themed games, like Ghost Recon, Full Spectrum Warrior, etc? These games are blatantly racist, encouraging young kids to kill Muslims and other ethnic groups. Ghost Recon even goes so far as to simulate a war in MEXICO, where you can kill all the brown people you want.

Its funny, how people like Jack Thompson and LIEberman always go for these over-the-top games like Grand Theft Auto and Halo, yet ignore the ultra-realistic military games against real "enemies" of the US.

5. Every six years ...
Senator Joe runs political ads on the same issue - His fight to take the violence out of video games. You'd think that by now, he'd be making some progress. It seems like such a no-brainer. WHY do people here STILL fall for his baloney???
