3. Hart would have MUCH to explain.
I'd like to keep an open mind, but Gary Hart
would have to perform a near miracle to win
me over. And I voted for him in '84.

4. His time was in 1984....now he's just too old.
Edited on Tue Nov-28-06 11:49 PM by Alexander
I am of the opinion that 75 should be the upper age limit for anyone wanting to be president. Ronnie was in there at 77 and was clearly suffering from Alzheimer's before his announcement.

I think Hart would've kicked Reagan's ass in 1984, instead of Walter "I will raise your taxes" Mondale, who was about as inspiring as a cold fish.

I could not care less about his sex scandal, but most Americans will remember him for that, despite the great anti-terrorism work he's done since then.

Sorry. But no potential candidate inspires me at all, except Al Gore and Russ Feingold. The former hasn't committed yet, and the latter announced he wouldn't run. Which is why I hope the ticket becomes Gore/Feingold in 2008.

7. Sure, why not. He was another victim of dirty tricks. He has some good ideas
and deserves another chance.

10. The problem is that he is typecast
Mention his name and the first thing that comes to mind is "Monkey Business."
