Believe me. I want to get nicely smashed tonight. Among fellow libs would be a dream come true. AND JON. Wait - ok, imagine this:

Nighttime. Tonight. All of us are in the coolest, smallest, most intimate Brooklyn bar you could possibly imagine. Lights low. We all get along and like each other even more than we do online. It's just perfect. Imagine your favorite drink in your hand, luscious and cool. Mine's a V&T, actually ;)
Al Green is crooning softly in the far corner from a jukebox. The bartender's just given a round of freebies cos he's just in a good mood. Everything's groovy. You're 100% mellow. The door opens with a jingle of bells. We turn and look.

In walks Jon Stewart, solo, in his black leather jacket, jeans and Bronx Zoo sweatshirt. He smiles at all of us and we shout, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

He blushes. "Aw, folks, cmaan. You didn't have to do this... nevermind, fuck it. I need the break. Let's fuckin' knock back. Rest of the night's on me."

We all drink, kick back and talk about the show, about life, and everything.
