Global warming is 'war on Christmas'!
it's so springlike here in the great white north one marvels at late November acting like it's early september! Nice but....since Thanksgiving day, the local radio has been playing Christmas music, which they'll do (incessantly, in some opinions) until Christmas day. Christmas music can be wonderful, especially some of the old classics. But the capitalist pig INSISTS on pumping the six plus billion metric tonnes of carbon into earth's 12 mile thick atmosphere every year! All this carbon (Harpers mag mentioned this statistic in a Dec/1995 article by Ross Gelbspan, subtitled "the warming of the world's climate sparks a blaze of denial") must do something, especially when one adds up the years times 6 billion -since 1995 that's 66 billion metric tonnes! The rightwingnuts of note, Bellow Really most famously, but followed closely by the Gabardene swine of foxnews and cnn, re brite hum and john gobson, accuse 'liberals' of being anti Christmas, but we're the ones decrying pollution and asking the Kyoto protocals be honoured, in support of normal weather, yet WE are anti Christmas! The repukelicans are probably setting up snow making machine franchises as we speak, to exploit the hankering for snow in wintertime by us northerners, but that just exacerbates the outrage, don't it?
'Bah humbug!" as the famed liberal Ebeneezer Scrooge once said!
