Man walking cross country to end war
He's a 57 year old former minimster and he's walking from California to Washington DC where he will hand his petition to any Congressperson who's open to receiving it. There is a petition on his site if you support what he is doing.

Imagine 1000 fat people walking across the US for peace. I'm serious. Imagine the highways jammed with fat people walking it off.

I say this, because I myself once considered simply beginning a walk up US 17 with the goal of walking as far as it took to get the weight off. I decided to locarb and bicycle instead.
