Congratulations America, Slavery has a chance for a comeback
According to The Federalist society and "strict constitutionalists" like Buchanan, Freedom (anti-slavery), is not a Constitutional Right and ought to be a state-decided issue. This is why they want Alito on board... to allow our freedoms to be dictated by local governments. What might be legal in one state (oh, say, the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS) may not be legal in another.

Don't believe me? Listen to Buchanan very carefully in this video: http://www.truthstream.org/flux/upload/truthstream/hardball_buchanan_shows_colors.wmv

Do Americans really deserve Democracy?

5. Buchanan is a moron
A lot of people on both sides of the political fence think that. It is hard to say something is unconstitutional when it is in the constitution as a right. Of course until after the 14th amendment was passed, the SC did say that the Bill of Rights did not apply to the states. It was only Congress who shall make no law in relation to those rights protected in the Bill of Rights.
