Screw Charlie Rangel's draft, fuck mc cain's additional 20,000 troops, NOTHING will help solve the problem, the problem is the war itself, even kissbuttinger said it's a lose lose situation.

Sorry Charlie, a draft is just as insane as continuing the clusterfuck.

2. Well there has to be a solution
but I agree throwing more troops at it doesn't seem to be fixing the problem.

3. well, there doesn't HAVE to be a solution to every thing.
I mean, I know what you mean, but some disasters don't have solutions.

4. draft ...
"a draft is just as insane as continuing the clusterfuck."

The Republicans are gloating about what Rangel is saying but somehow there are people on this forum who are calling for a draft. There goes the 2008 election!

5. No draft, no war....
...Get out NOW! End the war and begin to fight the one battle most profoundly meaningful, the impeachment then prosecution of the war criminals responsible for it.

6. Giving this moron the man power from a draft will only allow him
to start a wider war. He won't finish the one's he's already started. He'll only start new wars.

No new draft without a worthy commander & chief to lead them!

8. A draft is a very stupid idea. A major brain fart.
Yes, imagine what Bush would have done with more than 400,000 troops at his disposal. You can be sure that there is another Bush-like president waiting in our future. Do we really, REALLY, want the sheer number of troops from a military draft available to such a person?

10. There should be an orderly withdrawal of our troops.
We can't have everybody simply drop their weapons and run for the helicopters. Those types of scenes will be fodder for GOP commercials in 2008. The reality is that if the Democrats want to retain control they cannot rubber stamp every wet dream of the Liberal Left (I consider myself to be a realistic and pragmatic Liberal). Lose the independent voters in the middle and Democrats can say goodbye to being able to do anything in the future. There is a right way and a less right way to withdraw from Iraq and many respected Democratic leaders such as Feingold and Kerry realize this.

11. As long as the scum that lied us into this war are still in charge there can be no resolution.
They must be removed from office; it should be obvious.
