The MSM Is All Excited About Bush Reading A Book, you see
everywhere about Bush reading a book about life after the White House. Unbelievable how almost every main news media has a article about Bush reading a book. This about a guy who sees the cover of Newsweek where somewhere is showing him the cover picture of him in a bubble. He asks what is this magazine?

2. "The president is an avid reader."
The president is a history buff," Duffy said. "The president knows full well that he's got a lot of time left in this second term and he's going to accomplish big things, as he has talked about repeatedly."

What a load of horseshit. When are they going to realize that nobody belives this stuff?

5. Reminds me of The West Wing episode with the green beans...
Edited on Wed Dec-28-05 08:12 PM by ticapnews
When Charlie tells a reporter the president doesn't like green beans the staff freaks out because swing state Oregon is a HUGH green bean producer. To cover the story they suggest a photo-op of the president eating green beans with a drop-in line that the president is "always looking for green bean recipes."

Of course, on the show they realize that would be stupid. In real life the president's staff not only does it but the media lets them get away with it.

Reason # 54789 that The West Wing is better than reality.

6. The media could help him start his life after the White House
earlier than planned. All they have to do is start telling the truth and quit covering for him.

Give him lots of time to pretend to read.
