I knew this would be the result of Bush being in office for four more years.

I was for the filibuster attempt but, I'm sorry, but I didn't think we would win it. I don't think most people did - not even Kerry and Kennedy. It was a huge Hail Mary and we gained much more support then anyone would have imagined when the Committee hearings ended. But in the midst of the battle, hopes get high.

I sorry to see so many dashed hopes. After the election, I learned the worst thing is when the hope is gone.

The hope is not gone.

The 2006 election is in 10 months.

If the Democrats take control of one of the Houses, there will be massive investigations of sooooo many different things it will be staggering.
