Rather than opposing certain Dems, why not support the hell out of the ones who voted NO. Crash their phone lines in support. Everyone expects to hear angry calls. Screw that. If you're thankful to the brave senators, let them know.

I'm sure some of the cloture voters will take notice if the filibuster Senators see a spike in their contributions. Why don't the filibuster blogs join together to set up a fundraising effort for the ones who voted against cloture? That will get you more notice than a dozen angry emails/phone calls.

2. We could start a DU thread, and call it $25 for the 25...

If posters are wealthy, they could pledge $25 for each of the 25 Senators; if not wealthy, they could pledge $25 to their own Senator, if they voted "No," or choose one of the ones who did from the list, if their own Senators were "Yes" votes. Do you think that would work? Nobody would have to say if they were pledging $25 to each, or $25 to just one.

(I'm not suggesting that DU collect money, just that they make a pledge, and follow up on it within a week.)
