Actually, I am amazed.

Lately I have been steeling myself to fight to the end battles that I knew we could not win, but I think we are finally twisting enough DINO arms to make a difference.

A week ago, there was no filibuster likely to happen.

Now we have fifteen Senators who certainly are on the job, and many others who are "on the fence".

And all of this progress is because of YOU. YOU, the Online Democratic Activist. No other factor entered into this. ALL of this was pressure from you folks!

Now, tomorrow, we cannot let up. Call out sick from work if you have to. Spend the whole day FAXing and calling Senators!

There's no way the Democrats are going to keep stoking up the base like this and let them down right before an election. The lunatics that are calling them right now are the door knockers and the fund raisers of their campaigns. If they piss these people off, they might as well hang up thier campaign hat right now.
