Will somebody for the love of Dick Cheney tell me
Edited on Wed Dec-28-05 11:57 PM by Dees
what Bu$h and the Repugs have done for the average working person in this country in the last five years. One lasting, good endearing thing. Never has so little been done for so few. Damn Republicans and damn them all.

College been made more affordable? Anything been done to improve the health care crisis in this country? Environment been greened up? Federal agencies like FEMA been strengthened in case of attack or disaster? Middle and lower income permanent tax relief? Energy dependency on fossil fuels been relieved? Election process been improved and voting fraud been eliminated? National debt been reduced or budget closer to being balanced?

I guess the silent majority has just been overwhelmed with accusations, defending Dim Son, the War and sex and ethics scandals to get off their dead Republican asses and do anything for anybody. Our great national nightmare may be soon be over...

1. Help them get into heaven and get better guns
Let them feel they were better than liberals. Did what they could to keep black people, Mexicans, gays and uppity women in their place.

2. You ingrate you! junior has made everyone safe by fighting those
terrorist over there instead of here. Now was that so hard to figure out?

And another thing for all those other ingrates. junior brought morals back to the front burner. He scrubbed down the Oval Office after Clinton got that white stuff all over things and junior got Monica 86th from Washington D.C. and all the cigars stores closed.

3. I dont get it either
Everything they push is anti-normal American. Everything.

But they still vote for him. I have a theory that most repugs are repugs because they hate black people. Think about it. When did the rethugs start becoming popular? Right after Johnson signed the civil rights bill. And youll never get one of them to admit it but I really believe thats the real reason why they vote against us.

6. Well, let's see...
they've made sure you are going to be paying off their excesses for the coming decades, as they've given your tax dollars to rich bastards and then cut programs designed to help the less fortunate to pay the difference. They've destroyed our image abroad to be absolutely certain that we are in the maximum amount of danger as we travel abroad. They've made it more difficult to file for bankruptcy so rich people won't be exploiting those options to keep themselves afloat in these difficult times. They've cut the reigns on EPA standards so big corporations can sleep soundly with the knowledge that their black ink is worth more than our lives. They've made every attempt to scare the crap out of us, give our jobs away to cheap labor in other countries, steal, lie, cheat, torture, lie some more and kill people in other countries, including many of our own soldiers, for the sake of a buck... I'd say they've had a pretty good run! :sarcasm:

The funny part about all of this: there are people out there that still believe this administration is doing a good job

9. It must be really difficult for a Repug to have time
to consider meaningful legislation that actually provides good for average America considering all of the time (they) must spend taking care of corporate interests and what the lobbyists demand from them.

10. Financially...
it has been 5 years of deep pain.
And things were SOOO good with Clinton
I mean unbelievably fantastic.

It's hard to believe that other middle class
folks can't see this simple comparison
just because they voted for Bush.
Cognitive Dissonance or something of the sort ???

11. They are keeping our jobs safe
For example, my old job is safe and sound in India. No Black or Mexican or illegal immigrant will get my old job! No way. It is safely being done by five guys in Bombay.

My old job, and millions of others, have moved to Asia. And the best part is that our old employers are getting massive tax credits and government subsidies for sending our jobs over there, so the products they sell will be that much cheaper to buy here in the United States! So even if you are stuck on unemployment or welfare you might still be able to buy them. Which will help the company make more of a profit so they can hire even more Chinese and Indians, and save even more American jobs! I'm so grateful!

Bitter? No, I'm not bitter. Why do you ask? Just because I lost a job I could walk to and instead have had to drive 70 miles a day for the past three years? Until that job also got shipped away earlier this month? No. Why would that make me bitter?
