I am inspired - GET OUT on Monday - Visit your Senator
(cross posted in Florida Forum)

I have never visited a Senators' office before - but as awkward as I will feel - I am going on Monday to PERSONALLY request that Bill Nelson vote No on cloture.

Who's with me?

1. Go for it!

Last week was my first time to visit a Senator's office to ask for a vote on something.

It was just the district office, Senator was off in D.C.

I took 5 friends with me, and that was a great feeling! We had different backgrounds, but were united in opposing Alito on women's rights/reproductive rights & privacy, plus the unitary executive problem, where Alito elevates the presidency to the point where the legislative and judicial branches have no effective oversight over him.

We didn't persuade our R TX Senator's assistant one iota, but we felt good because we tried. We were eloquent!

3. My Senators are Kerry and Kennedy

I already called them and thanked them. No point in diverting time away from calling the ones who are resisting.

If you have a Senator who is resisting or you even suspect of resisting - a personal visit is a FANASTIC idea!

7. The corporate media thinks they make up the facts.
Well, they make up something, but it's not the facts.

Actual PEOPLE in Senate offices in DC and in the districts would be noticed!

Anybody else who can carry out a visit on Monday -- or a picket if the office is totally unfriendly -- that would be golden.

Great list at DU of details on Senate contacts:
