We have had a great victory.
But we as a people are not free yet. We are currently under a constitutional crisis. There is work to do. Do not let anyone talk you or your representative to not correct this crisis. To protect and defend the constitution of the United States is the oath of office of every elected representative and duty of every citizen. Therefore, it is a requirement and duty of the office one holds, NOT A CHOICE. I keep seeing threads here saying there shouldn't be any impeachment hearings. Investigations should not be short circuited "for the good of the country" for it in fact would not be for the good of the country. There are currently people being held in this country and abroad without charge. There currently are people being spied on without warrant. There are a few thousand service people dead, 40K wounded, 500K citizens of Iraq dead, 1.6 million refugees from Iraq, based on deliberate deception to the American people and Congress. There are people being tortured and have been tortured in violation of the War Crimes Act and the Geneva conventions. There have been a multitude of felonies committed by the executive branch of the United States. There have been many crimes committed by the executive branch against the constitution. Freedom cannot protect itself. The constitution cannot defend itself. It takes the rule of law and the will of the people and its representatives.
eom.
