Haven't heard any mention of the election results. The freepers and kinda-freepers are shocked into silence and quiet.

We normally adhere to the rules of polite conversation (no politics, religion, or sex), but nothing in passing the cubicles or equipment aisles.

5. The sweet sound of victory

Coming into my predominant G.O.P. office this morning, I have a spring in my step and a smile on my face - that's all I need to speak exactly what I'm thinking.

The usual suspects that run around parroting the right-wing, neo-con talking points are quiet - scowls all the way around.

My boss did come into my office, closes the door, and says congratulations and genuinely asks me what I think this will mean to our business - since we are in the energy sector. Things look good for us because of this Democratic takeover because our product lines will diversify into other sectors that we are established in.
