It's a sad day here, but it's close down in Sac.

McNerney Dem 64500 52%
Pombo Rep* 58520 48%

Doolittle Rep* 94589 50% Winner
Brown Dem 86427 45%
Warren Lib 9536 5%

3. ABC reporter in McNerney camp just reported to Bernie Ward at KGO...
That McNerney had declared himself the winner, and the Big Dog just called him to congratulate him! HOOT!

Doolittle won, but you wouldn't know with all the crying from him about having to go back to DC as minority party with no power. Loser will be indicted by Feb., anyway! :rofl:
