based on the MSNBC projections, we got a 53 seat House swing

based on the MSNBC projections, we got a 53 seat House swing
MSNBC projecting 237 - 198 advantage in the house = 39

We needed 15 seats to get a 1 seat advantage.

So thats 15 + 38 extra = 53.

7. Nope.
If the Dems get 238 seats in the new House, that'd be an increase of 37 seats from the 201 currently held. It's smaller than the LOSS of 54 seats in 1994.

...I heard one of the talking heads saying that so far, not a single incumbent Dem has lost their seat, which may be unheard-of.
