The news down here said six Dems were voting for Reich-Marshall Alito but it didn't say who they were... I want to write all of the traitors... I know I've been preaching "stand behind our leaders" but I didn't mean cowards and traitors... Now it's my turn to bash um!

We need to remind them that they need to stand for something.

What's with the Dem Senators supporting Alito? Seriously, why not say they are Republican and get it over with. If Alito gets confirmed, Dems who's reps did not support the Filibuster should oust them out of office. No point in having reps that are Democratic in name only.

11. Because they're not republicans
and we need them. Lose Nelson and get a Repub. Same for Johnson. Odds are that Byrd would also be replaced by a puke. We need to take back that Senate, that means tolerating votes that we don't like. Nelson, Johnson and Byrd would all vote for Harry Reid as majority leader. That means that meaningful investigations could take place, and real opposition.

12. re
Some of their past stances could say other wise. They are hanging in by a thread right? Since they are in Red States? I get the feeling that they may be outed anyway if the dems dont run a good campaign.

That doesnt give dems living in those states a real good choice and probably costing in voter disinterest.

7. Senator Byrd
Ann Coulter must of spiked his oatmeal. That speech he made yesterday was shameful.

9. Red State ones. This is likely a Sophie's choice. Red State Sens need
to not be alienated from their voters. It is a good choice. Because what matters more than Alito - is the race in 2006. We need all the Senators we have already. And they have to represent their districts.

13. re. Alito
There has to be someone better than Alito that both conservatives and liberals can agree upon.

14. That is not what Bush wants. He wants someone who will rubber stamp
his social revolution. He won in 2006. Dems lost power. Bush decides.
