My full time job is in Second Life. Yes, it's similar to a game. Yes, it's not real life. Yes, it has problems just like real life.

However, young people in droves (and older ones too) are flocking there to enjoy it. No, I do not work for SL. I get no kickbacks for this. I just believe that SL can be used for good, as well as the crass commercialism that is beginning to intrude there by giant corporations.

Please check it out, at least. You have to download the program, install it, and then try to figure it out. It helps enormously if you have cable or DSL or satellite broadband access. Dialup is just very very slow on there. If you have any questions, ask away.

SL can be used to reach young people and nerds like me :) Let's use it !

Besides I don't have time to download and "try to figure out" something that I don't even know what it is.

2. Linden Labs operates SL. I do not work for Linden Labs

I own a shopping mall there. SL is a computer program that operates a 3-D virtual world. The website explains it in detail. It's similar to a Massively Multi-player Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) but it really isn't.
