Screenshots, people!!
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 01:39 PM by Zodiak Ironfist
I just wanted to start this humble thread to remind us onlne activists and keyboard commandos to have your screenshots ready. This election looks like itis going to be as hairy as it gets, and so evidence is needed.

Last time, in Ohio, my wife and I watched Ken Blackwell switch the voting on election-specific issues a whopping 30% and didn't get a screenshot. We went to bed thinking that our side had won and surely SOMEONE got a screenshot of the results on the SOS page.

We didn't get the screenshot, and no one else did, either.

In 204, screen shots of the exit polls allowed online activists to question the integrity of that election and get the ball rolling on waking people up.

Never forget that screenshots, albeit not ironclad evidence, still help the cause.

Have your computers ready.

3. LOL, we've still got the pencil and paper ballot here
and I'm happy about that. I also know that all the wonderful old ladies who work at the polling place are as honest as the day is long (hey, my mom is one of them), so I feel quite confident that my vote is counted here---it's the rest of the country I worry about.

7. Thanks for the recs
I promise that my wife and I will NOT be saying "I wish we did...." tomorrow.

I plan on filling up an entire directory of Ohio voting totals tonight from screenshots, and with Blackwell's hand already being seen in our county (franklin), it is an absolute necessity.

9. see post #2
first get the firfox browser, then get the plug-in. alternatively, a lot of picture viewing programs allow one to take a screenshot, as well.

11. Hit the printscrn button on your keyboard
Its in the upper right, above the insert, home, page up keys.

1. Hit printscrn
2. Click Start->programs->accessories->Paint
3. Click Edit->Paste
Your screenshot is now displayed.
4. Save the file for evidence.
