my I Voted avatar. Looks good. And no new fangled voting machines for me. Here in NYC, I voted on the same lever machine I've always used. Hopefully today will be the beginning of the end to that...
3. Me too. Just got home from the polls in the rain.
There was a pretty good crowd gathered for my area here in Tennessee. My husband and I manned the phone banks last night for Harold Ford and I will have to tell you, the mood is upbeat even with all this damn rain.
in Chapel Hill, NC just because I wanted to walk. We still use paper ballots. I was #170 at 9:15 a.m. No big partisan races and no Senate seats in play. We shall see.
Having recently moved to Wyoming, I registered before voting today. Had no problems. System was optical scan. A little nervous that the counts go to a central tabulator and are not likely to be audited though.
It's neither neccessary to post nor start a new thread to see a change in avatar - all past posts are changed as well since the software is dynamic - I.e. it assembles the display of posts upon real-time request from the MySQL database.
