A coworker just gave me a great double-compliment!

First, she said that she verified her voter eligibility specifically because of my suggestion that she do so. And second, she voted this morning. We're in Pennsylvania, by the way.

This was the first non-Presidential election in which she voted (she's in her early thirties), and she said that she only went to the polls because I've been talking about the election so much.

And as a compliment to all of us, she voted Democrat across the board! Not blindly, either; she took a look at the candidates and decided that Santorum et al need to go.

I've been encouraging everyone I know to get out and vote, and this was the first person who specifically identified my urging as a motivator!
