As long as I'm still a US citizen I can vote, and I'll do my part in seeing a Democratic Congress comes to pass anyway I can. And I got to vote against John Kyl, who (after Sheriff Joe Arpaio and JD Hayworth) is the most vile politican in Arizona.

I have a feeling of hope I didn't have in 2004 about this election; taking the House is a virtual lock, and I'd be overjoyed if that happened..

Although she received a ballot, my wife (an American) didn't vote. She asked me to shred the ballot because she didn't know the candidates and only feels she's entitled to vote in the presidential election as an American who hasn't lived in the USA for about 6 years now.

Though I did shred the ballot, I jokingly said I was willing to complete it (straight democrat) and mail it in for her. I'm sure most of you would not have wanted me to make a mockery of your democratic process by having me, a non-American, vote. Having last resided in Harford Country , Maryland (Bel-Air, just north of Baltimore) Being from Maryland, I'm pretty sure most of the democrats there won tonight, at least in the State of Maryland, not the county, which seems very conservative. http://www.harfordcountymd.gov/Elections/general/Returns/

I really hope the democrats can make a real change in direction after tonight's results.
