Need something? Have something to give away? FREEcycle it!
I just found this site tonight. I moved from MN to KY without any furniture, kitchen things or most home items. I have very little money and this was awesome!!

I have already found a couch.

What a great idea.

You pretty much need to be in or near a bigger city. Pass it on! What's better than giving away your old stuff to someone who needs it and will pick it up?!

1. Freecycle is wonderful
I have a penchant for thrift shops, Goodwills, and yard sales.
For the past two summers since I found Freecycle, I have cleaned out my garage in less than a weekend.
Made space for my car and hopefully helped someone along the way.

2. We use FreeCycle all the time.
We've given away tons of old furniture, books and such - and we got a kickass air conditioner last Summer for free.

5. Freecycle is great but
as for being near a bigger city, you don't have to be. I live in a very rural area with a great freecycle and since I keep an eye on a big city one for an netless friend, mine is much easier to keep up with.
Glad you found it and better yet posted about it here.
