My priorities must be fucked up

1. Fundie sex scandals are more fun than nuclear proliferation.
Just saying...

2. It is curious.
I think the nuke documents issue, and even the Libby pre-trial motions & rulings, would be of great interest as we approach the Tuesday elections.

12. They are to me, but the public at large will resonate more on the
sex scandal - especially with the total hypocrisy of Rev Super Fundie being the one caught with his pants down.

Hopefully, someone who might have considered voting ReThug on Tuesday will find something in the news enough to make them stay home or vote for a change - be it rentboys, nuke docs or more Libby filings

When there are far more pressing issues than a botched joke.

I thought the "Baghdad Under Siege" story was a little more important than Kerry. Shows what I know...

6. That's because the RW couldn't care less about national security
We have been forced to stoop to their level and focus on what actually motivates RW loonies to (or not to) vote.

Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 03:37 PM by walldude
A 12 page document on how to build an atomic bomb posted by the administration on the internet, after warned against it by the head of the NIE, only to be over ridden by Bush himself. Yeah it's all fake :eyes:

on edit: Oh wait, the yellow cake docs... you were being sarcastic weren't you..

17. I'm not questioning that it's a howto
I'm questioning the supposed origin of the document.

18. The origin? So it doesn't matter that they posted a how to
it matters where the doc came from? Not sure what you are getting at here.

22. It matters that it was posted
It matters where these documents came from because they are being used as "justification".

9. I thought so too...
They are more interested in sex than their lives. If this was a dem it would be talked about for days, they still continue to talk about Kerry which was a non story.

16. Gotta go with what "works"
WE know the nuke story is more IMPORTANT, but we've got a pivotal election coming in a few days, and the "flock" will be more burned up by the sex stuff than a few nukes rolling around in the trunk..

If they get disgusted and stay home it's okay with me :)

24. Have to disagree
Haggard is gossip. Whatever he did or however hypocritical he is, it doesn't hold a candle to the compromise of national security.

26. C'mon, we're talking about people who are more concerned
with gay marriage than the dismantling of the constitution or hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis. And you think the whole Haggard thing won't have MORE of an impact than those documents? The whack jobs already think those documents are proof that Iraq was on the verge of nuking the U.S. and they think it's even MORE justification for invading. THAT is a non-story imo, because it's already been spun. THIS however, is non-spinnable (I know, not a word). More damage will result from a sex scandal, unfortunately. It's not right, that's for sure, but it just IS.
