1. Agreed. And the 'Vulture of Life' doesn't give it a moment's thought.

3. But But But.....
Dick Cheney said that things in Iraq are going "remarkebly well." Well, at least Halliburton stock is up. :-(

4. So fucking tragic...
They're so fucking brave. I can't imagine what it would be like...God, I was enlisted to go, but went and made a stupid decision, and got a felonya week before I was supposed to go. Got discharged before I even got to training...God, if I hadn't had that DUI, I would be there now.

Boggles the mind.

5. The media rarely says a word about our wounded or dead
That lack of recognition is so sad.

6. They may not receive recognition in the MSM
but every death, and every disabled vet, means a world of difference to the ones who love them, and have prayed for their safe return. It is so tragic, and so wrong, that all of this pain, and loss, and suffering on both sides has been brought about so that a rich man's spoiled son could be a "war president", and have political capital to spend.

As agonizing as it is, we must acknowledge that all of this carnage, the billions of wasted dollars, and human agony, has come to be just because of one man's warped idea of having a hero's legacy. Well, the hero is a coward, and nothing can change that. I am praying that things will change next Tuesday.

8. Me, also
W is so very shameful. So very shameful. How he could hurt our country with no remorse is beyond shame. His legacy will damn him.

7. and how many seriously wounded? . . . and how many Iraqis? . . .
Iraq is a killing field that rivals any in recent history . . .

and it was all absolutely, completely, unequivocally unnecessary -- and thoroughly avoidable . . .

9. The Profit and Neo-con War
GE, Halliburton and other "companies" rejoice at these deaths.

Perle, Wolfkowitz, Feith, Kagan, Ledeen love these deaths.

This is NOT sarcasm.
