this seems to be bush's only bragging point, lame as it is. 'see, see? 4 years and no further al qaeda attacks on our soil'! some selling point huh, with osama still out there on the loose?

for whatever reason, osama figures we're self destructing quite nicely and needn't attack right now, dumb luck, or whatever, it's certainly NOT because bush is making us safer from terror, we're not one tiny percent safer now than on sept. 10th, 2001.

it would be kindof hard for them to claim the were caught by surprise *yet again*, would it not?
What are they going to say? "We could not have imagined they'd use bio war fare", or "we could not have imagined they'd use a nuke"..?
After all, 9-11 changed everything, and now they are on watch. Or so they'd have us believe.

7. I hear this one all the time, and it's very easy to rebut

One of Orlando's right-winger radio hosts spouts this statistic all the time. Everytime I hear it, I scream at the radio "CLINTON WENT 7 YEARS AFTER THE WTC BOMBING WITHOUT A FOREIGN TERRORIST ATTACK". These people have no clue how Al Qaeda operates. They don't plan their terrorist attacks in close proximity, they like to space them out over several years. The fact that we haven't been hit again means nothing.
