The Gopher King and the gopher kingdom
Henceforth, I am referring to conservatives and Republicans as "gophers". You may have noticed I've used the term 'gopers' already - from GOPers. Now it's simply evolving (or maybe it's intelligent design, who can tell) into the term gophers. Bush is the Gopher King, although he certainly isn't the one pulling the strings. That would be Poppy Gopher and his minions.

If you think about it, the gopher is a great analogy. They are rodents. They live in dark holes, and tend to have tunnel vision. They are pests, you don't want them in your backyard - if they get there, they will destroy everything. No matter how hard you try, they just won't go away. They breed like wildfire. They have little beady eyes.

1. Well, I see we have another one around
People like you are the reason I implemented a strict no drinking of liquids while reading DU. It has served me well once again.
