Investigators have to follow the money...Remember, GOP controlled state government gave Noe almost 3 months to cover his tracks...
"Just two days before Ohio authorities seized Tom Noe's assets after executing a search warrant last year, Noe transferred more than $11.2 million in rare coins out of the state-funded investment he managed, an ex-state employee said yesterday.
Scott Clark, a former fraud investigator for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, said he found six invoices written on May 24, 2005, involving the movement of coins to Noe's business, Vintage Coins and Collectibles, and to Noe himself.
....
In other testimony yesterday, Noe's brother-in-law, Joe Restivo, described how he took some of Mr. Hendelson's coins out of Vintage and placed them in a Lambertville bank about 10 days before the state search warrant was executed.
...
Last year, he (Joe Restivo) was identified as one of the conduits that Noe used to illegally funnel more than $45,000 into President Bush's re-election effort. Mr. Restivo cooperated with federal authorities, his attorney said last year.
