Well, there is an October surprise after all.
As reported yesterday, Webb now leads Allen in multiple polls...better yet, at 50% or above. Quite an "October surprise" for the Republicans.

Allen must've run down Pennsylvania Ave. toward the White House, high on crack and nekkid as a jaybird for Webb to get a 50% lead.

8. Clark is campaigning with Ford tomorrow.
While I don't agree with all of Ford's stances, he's still a Dem and I hope Clark's support helps.

10. I don't have a link, but it has increased against Ford
to about a 7 point spread via CNN I am NOT giving up on Tennessee, but it looks like it will be Virginia and Missouri where we might have a better chance Interestingly enough the house is definitely moving in our favor

12. I won't engage in a flame war
but the candidates were even until the racist ads appeared. Of course I am not referring to the ENTIRE state of Tennessee, in fact I am referring mostly to the older generation. Racism is in the North also, it is just more subtle I remember how things were back in the fifties

13. Ah, excuse me, but there are quite a few non-racist Tennesseans
here at DU. And there's got to be a problem with that CNN poll. It's too far out of line with others. There was another poll out yesterday showing Ford ahead.

If the Kerry controversy keeps hogging the spotlight, we'll see all these little victories fade.
