OK, Tucker Carlson is officially an asinine idiot.
I taped a lot of the MSNBC coverage today in hopes that maybe Keith Olbermann would anchor some of the political coverage. Not today...maybe sometime within the next week.

Anyway, while going over my tape, I discovered that during an hour he was covering, Tucker Carlson discussed many topics with Bill Press and Dennis Prager. One of them was the "joint birthday party" Bill and Hillary just threw in New York, featuring a private Rolling Stones concert for their 15,000 guests. Tucker talked about how absurdly much it cost the guests to attend, pronounced the event "embarrassing" and "disgusting," and complained to the effect of "What is all this money he's raising--what about AIDS in Africa?" Prager said something to the effect of "Well, Clinton needs to be shown how much he is loved" and some such crap.

I sat there stunned...because this afternoon, on Dan Patrick's show, I had just heard Keith Olbermann describe this very event--which he had attended.

It was a FUNDRAISER FOR THE CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE. It was NOT just a lavish, disgustingly expensive birthday party. It was not even a political fundraiser for Hillary. It was for a program that is doing good things all over the world!

All I can say is, Tucker's an idiot shooting his damned mouth off about things about which he knows NOTHING. Not that this will come as news to a lot of people, but still.

Oh, and from what Keith said, the Stones rocked.

The entry is a picture of Tucker.

Tucker is so filled with Tucker, the cruelest punishment would be house arrest ... without mirrors or shiny surfaces.

12. I hear the "kids" love him because he's a "Cutey" ...but "ignorant" sort
of sits well in my brain. I might be "ignorant" but I would always say: "Well Tucker Carlson is more ignorant than I am."

 I've not heard much I would look up to from Tucker. Maybe I just miss his genius?

14. Yeah. Cutey. He's "momma's pride and joy."
I've never seen a more apt caricature of Oedipus Wrecks ... a swollen foot looking for its mouth.

4. I frequently cannot listen to Bill.
As usual he is one of our guys who seems to never have done his homework, and is willing to agree to shit without even reflecting that he is agreeing to bullshit.

Bill Press nodding in agreement about sums it up. He sometimes has a good streak. Typically he is a 'no running with scissors' Democrat.

5. My letter to MSNBC
Not sure if Tucker is trying to outdo O'Reilly and FOX in the Misinform My Viewers stakes, but the birthday party that he lambasted President Clinton over -- you know, the one in NYC with the Rolling Stones that Tucker called "embarrassing" and "disgusting" -- was actually raising money for The Clinton Global Initiative.

Needless to say, I ain't gonna hold my breath for that blowhard in the bow tie to apologize for his ignorant outburst. But I will hold out hope for the Grand Poo-bahs in the corner offices to start holding their on-air talent to a higher standard of honesty and integrity.

Or at least a simple fact check with the research team before the ON AIR sign flashes.

15. I don't normally watch him. I had just taped MSNBC today
and was going through my tape, and noticed from the screen graphics that Tucker was making some sort of comment on the Big Dawg's party, which I had heard Olbermann talking about earlier today. So I stop and rewind, and hear Tucker going on like an idiot about how foolish and self-serving and embarrassing it is for Bill to have a party to celebrate himself at such tremendous expense--especially because he initially had a more expensive party planned (including golf) but had to cut back because he didn't get many takers at the price tag for that.

11. Ummm ...Clinton is a "Leo" Birthday in July and Hillary is a Scorpio..
Birthday in November..unless she's a cusp Baby of Libra crossing over into Scorpio. So they held Bill's Birthday Late and Hillary's Birthday Early? :eyes:

Can anyone help me with this since neither Bill nor Hillary's Birthdays seem to coincide with this big "B-DAY BASH?"

Whaaaa? Maybe I have their dates wrong or something?

17. Hillary's birthday was last Thursday
and yes, it was a "late" celebration of Bill's birthday and a "slightly" late celebration of hers.

And for the record, his birthday is August 19, not in July.
