2. I'm making sure young friends are registered to vote

have several who could vote but haven't gotten around to it yet, but still complain mightily. So, off I go. I think they can still register in person @ county office. If not, at least they will be registered for 2008.

Edited to add: First I am going online to check email and DU. then perhaps working on garden and perhaps going to Costco to get a few groceries. Doing a bit of laundry, drinking some coffee. Then checking with some young friends about voting.

I put up gotv adn candidate stuff this morning in part of my precinct and I just stopped by my apartment for a snack and some water before heading back out to finish up the apartments in my precinct. Probably got another couple of hours to go and I'll be done. W00t!

Yesterday we were out with Labor and over in the university turf with this state senate race we've been working (did I mention that we were also invited to four different kid and family related events along with that?)

Today we are taking a deep breath prior to the final push, along with carving the obligatory Jack-O-Lantern (commonly called the "Pukin Punkin" every year by the local kids) along with generally spending family time. Kev is doing some file sorts for a GOTV mailing, I think, too...

Tomorrow we are back at work in our offices and then off to a picket in support of AFSCME in a contract dispute.
