2. I pay no attention to the DU clock.
And the shifts into and out of Daylight Savings Time never bothered me. People that whine about bout it strike me as just that: whiners.

4. Never Heard Anyone Whine About It. That's Really Silly. But Have You Noticed That
your posts aren't kicking threads to the top, because the top most posts are an hour more than they should be? Is your DU clock runnin wacky or isn't it?

7. It's Weird. The Threads On Top Have Said 2:59 AM since 1 AM, So
that was like a 2 hr difference. What's weirder, is that the threads started at 2am, as soon as the clock went back an hour, all went beneath the ones started earlier. Just somethin totally wacked out with the DU clock when daylight savings kicked in. Regardless of where there servers were, it wasn't 2:59 anywhere in the US, daylight savings or not, 2 hours ago. Really weird! Just didn't know if it was just me or not, is all.

12. Happens every year when the clocks get rolled back an hour.
I guess you just didn't notice previously.

Nothing to panic about.

13. Why Would Anyone Panic?
Just mere curiosity is all. I just simply didn't know if it was just me experiencing that or if others were as well. Panic is a bit of a melodramatic assessment LOL

8. Then Was There Really A Point For You Having Posted In This Thread
Edited on Sun Oct-29-06 01:54 AM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
to begin with? Not sure even why you did so, but ok.

The point was to ask if others were seeing the same anomaly that I was seeing, with the top half of the GD page filled with 2 hour old threads, while the new ones were getting kicked up only to the middle of the page or so. Now if you don't care, pay attention, or couldn't take the 10 seconds out of your evening to see if it was occurring for you as well, then I don't see the relevance in your having posted.

15. You asked a question and I answered.
The fact is, I just don't give a shit and said so. Now you have a problem with me replying in the first place. I guess now that I don't see the relevance of your question, especially if you want to censor the answers.

3. like Diebold at its best
does anybody know what time it is ?

As I was walking down the street one day

A man came up to me and asked me what the time was that was

on my watch, yeah

And I said

Does anybody really know what time it is

I don't

Does anybody really care

care

If so I can't imagine why

about time

We've all got time enough to cry

Oh no, no

And I was walking down the street one day

A pretty lady looked at me and said her diamond watch had

stopped cold dead

And I said

Does anybody really know what time it is

I don't

Does anybody really care

care

If so I can't imagine why

about time

We've all got time enough to cry

Oh no, no

And I was walking down the street one day

Being pushed and shoved by people trying to beat the clock,

oh, so I just don't know,

I just don't know

And I said, yes I said

Background Vocal:

People runnin' everywhere

Don't know the way to go

Don't know where I am

Can't see past the next step

Don't have to think past the last mile

Have no time to look around

Just run around, run around and think why

Does anybody really know what time it is

I don't

Does anybody really care

care

If so I can't imagine why

about time

We've all got time enough to die

Oh no, no

um, it's late.

11. After 1:59 AM On The East Coast, When The Clocks Went Back To 1 AM,
Edited on Sun Oct-29-06 02:01 AM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
all of a sudden a bunch of threads said 2:59 AM, as if the clock jumped an hour forward. Then, after that, all new threads were saying 2 AM EST, even though it was really 1 AM EST, and they were getting added to the middle of the page instead of the top. It took this full hour now for the newer threads or kicked threads to start moving towards the top, now that we are nearing 2:59 again (though it really is only 1:58, the EST on DU is saying 2:58. Just weird!). I guess the oddity for me was the 2:59 AM threads at only 1 AM. Definitely was a glitch in the software, but I can't put my finger on what the bug might've been.

On Edit: Even hitting the 'Mark Threads' option kept about 20 threads as new for over an hour, cause they were being portrayed as an hour in the future.
