Lynne Cheney's interview on CNN: helping or hurting?
To me, she sounds positively condescending, accusing, defensive, ugly. But hey, that's me.
Any opinions?

And CNN's question of the hour is, what do you think of Dick Cheney's position?responses? on torture.

2. What matters is the effect she's having on "biconceptuals."
(Don't tell me you haven't read George Lakoff's new one: http://RockridgeInstitute.org/ThinkingPoints! :hi:)

9. LOL... No, it's from Lakoff's book.
Basically a word to describe "swing voters" - and to poke holes in the myth of the "moderate."

4. That's the real
Lynne Cheney coming through. I think that she comes across a lot like her husband. And I do not think the American public will find her display attractive.

6. Ironic. I was talking to Dad today, and he said she was that acerbic
10 years ago. I said she seems to have maintained and is well-matched with Darth.

7. She presents herself as an mean spirited, haughty, spiteful
person. Maybe millions of Americans like that sort of person, especially Rethugs. I view her as dispicable.

10. Comparing some of the recent interviews today to the fawing "very
popular President" ones after Bush took office, it seems the corporate press is getting a tad confrontational, wouldn't it seem? It looks like the unabashed conservative, lying and unchallenged pundits in the past years are getting some blowback, and from their own kind. I don't watch those channels anymore and haven't for a couple of years but the Youtube proliferation of recent put downs of some of the unchallenged in past years lying idiots, like Ann Coulter, makes me wonder if there isn't a lot of internal dissent going on.

I was genuinely surprised how hard Blitzer was with Lynne Cheney. It never happened before.

13. I don't recall Lynne being on message/target recently. Apparently
the rethugs are sending out their women to get the job done. Laura's on the march also, and I read Babs is, too. While the 'men' slink into lesser challenging venues. :eyes:

12. Influence
The only people who will be drawn moreso to her are the hard core republicans who will never change. But I do think that a lot of people watch her and are turned completly off. Where they wouldn't have if she hadn't been so looking down her nose.
