2. Getting some house pages?
They're probably sick of the GOP screwing them all.

Seriously, getting rid of K St., undoing the tax cuts for the rich, and Iraq.

3. DUne.
When the Democrats take back control, their priorities will be human rights, civil liberties, ending the American terrorism of invading and occupying countries and a return to decent human rights. Science will be respected again and religion will be respected, not manipulated. We will respect the planet and look to expanding research and development into alternative fuel sources. And, finally, the Fairness Doctrine will be put back into place so the media will finally have to actually do it's job again.

It's not IF, but WHEN Democrats take back control of Congress that once again there can be hope for democracy, our nation and its constitution.

Hopefully there will be reinstatement of high EPA standards, a resurgence of protecting our national lands, the raising of minimum wage to an actual living wage, and a move away from the political hold of the Christian Rights groups that seek to overpower and destroy the delicate balance between church and state.

It's my personal hope that our Bill of Rights will once again be valid and remain stable with the reinstatement of the Writ of Habeas Corpus.

WHEN the Democrats come back to control of congress, I hope the do investigate the current administration. There's been so much gone so wrong in the last six years, Jack. Maybe there's hope for an actual improvement in our economy, keeping jobs here at home, and the US regaining the respect of other nations for foreign policies that actually have real substance.

8. here's mine
When Democrats take the House, and hopefully the Senate, the rubber stamp will be recycled, hopefully into something that is actually useful to the country. I expect real bills that deal with real issues like minimum wage, health care, reinstating the role of the EPA, social programs, financial responsibility, troop withdrawal and accountability. I expect many great things and a lot of whining from the Republicans.
