What do we know about the end game so far?

I don't know much about it, but here are few things that seem to be going on.

Republicans

(1) Republicans are being extremely nasty, as exemplified by the racist ad against Harold Ford, Jr. and the Limbaugh attacks on Michael J. Fox accusing him of exaggerating his disability
(3) Bush is meeting with radio talk show hosts and columnists, surely directing their campaign
(5) Saddam's sentence will be handed down November 5
(6) It is likely that in some races, cheating will be attempted

Democrats

(1) Googlebombing will take place
(2) Republican scandals are being trumpeted
