My first thought was to try to market it through sympathetic corner stores, since I suspect the chain stores won't touch it.

Then I figured a samizdat (or "same as dat" if you're a Terry Pratchett fan) campagin suits the viral nature of your work better.

Allow anyone to copy and distribute and forbid any charging of fees. Instead ask recipients to make and pass on copies of their own and to make a donation to a suitable charity.

I believe that there is a contract based on the Gnu GPL (General Public Liscence) for distribution of text, audio and video which allows you to release material into the public domain while retaining control over how it is distributed.
