3. Claiming Darwin was a plagiarist. Well, technically, the creators of the

Bible were as well, being that there were other Virgin Birth stories told in other cultures long before the Christians adapted it.

How come I can be Christian, understand that many of the Christian stories are simply retelling of other cultural myths and still be able to respect the teachings of Jesus? What is so complicated about understanding the need for cultures to tell stories and spread messages orally? Why is that too complex for these fundie fruitcakes?

4. Darwin got his theory published a few months prior to another Anthropologist

I cannot remember his name.... he was younger than Darwin and had postulated the same general theories that Darwin had put forth. They were peer rivals. Darwin won the battle.

I did my undergraduate in Anth.... I remember the lectures - the peer was treated as an equal to Darwin in classes.


Does anyone remember his name?
