Cheney on Obama: "Attractive Guy"

ABC News' David Chalian reports: In a radio interview with Sean Hannity, Vice President Cheney was asked what he thought of Sen. Hillary Clinton's chances of becoming president.

"I think she could win. I hope she doesn't. I disagree with her on nearly all the issues, but nobody should underestimate her. She's a very serious candidate for President," said Cheney.

As for that other potential Democratic '08er who has been all the buzz this week, Cheney said, "Barack Obama, attractive guy. Don't know him well, met him a few times. I think at this stage, my initial take on him was he's been two years as a senator. I think people might want a little more experience than that, given the nature of the times we live in. But certainly, he's an attractive candidate. If he decides to run, he'll be a player on the Democratic side."

Vice President Cheney's decision not to seek the presidency (which he unequivocally restated today), is making for the most wide open presidential contest in decades. 2008 will mark the first time since 1928 that neither a sitting president or vice president did not seek the presidential nomination.

2. I knew cheney was secretly in the closet.
And I happen to agree, Obama is attractive- but more than just appearance.

Does anyone else see the irony in cheney remarking on someone's experience since he's a vp to a Kindergartner with no national experience other than being from a family of psychos?

7. like Bush's affinity for men...
January 2004. Mr. Bush wandered over during Mr. Reid's chat with the Prime Minister. Mr. Reid introduced himself and shook hands with Mr. Bush.

The President chuckled. "Well, you got a pretty face," he told the surprised Mr. Reid. He wasn't done. "You got a pretty face," he said again. "You're a good-looking guy. Better looking than my Scott anyway."

didn't even have as much power as the Lt. Gov in his state!
