Rep. Barbara Cubin (R-WY) tells wheelchair bound man she'd slap his face
Edited on Tue Oct-24-06 01:58 PM by WI_DEM
if he were not in that chair! The wheelchair bound man is actually the Libertarian candidate for congress in her district and in a debate he had the audacity to accuse Cubin of taking dirty money from Tom Delay. After the debate she approached him and told him that if he were not in that chair she'd kick his ass.

They are beginning to crack, ladies and gentleman!

Kos actually has a couple of stories on this if you scroll down.

The wheelchair bound man and Libertarian candidate is Thomas Rankin who suffers from MS.

2. Actually, she said that she would slap his face -
not exactly kick his ass.

Still despicable, though.

7. Yes. Kos should've made it clearer he was paraphrasing what she said.
He should be more careful there.

10. When push comes to roll
I'm in a wheelchair and if someone said that to me they'd have to prove they could kick my ass. They may be unpleasantly surprised.

11. The man was
bound to his w/c w/ropes, belts, chains, what?

Please enter the 21st century. People are not bound to their chairs.

A "(sic)" when cut and pasting would allow people to know that you don't insult people in wheelchairs.

TIA
